The internet is like the phone system. You have a phone number... The internet has IP Addresses.
Mail Servers are supposed to be on certain specified IP addresses; controlled by the domain owner.
When an email arrives at 1USA
- from some IP Addresses overseas
- from some IP Addresses that aren't supposed to be sending out emails
- from some IP address that have previously sent in enough Spams to warrant further checking,
then the emails are not blocked... they are only Challenged... to prove that the sender is a real person vs a computer emailing robot.
Below is what a 1USA Challenge looks like.
It's an email that only goes out only under certain circumstances.
It only goes out ONCE -- on the first occasion that a New Sender sends you an email.
The "Friends Challenge" is issued only once.
Once a sender Clicks, they are verified, and it never happens again to that person.
