The situation on the internet is deteriorating.  It's as much of the "wild west" as it was back in 1995.  I receive daily reports of infections on Facebook.com and other websites.
The thieves are now mostly after bank accounts,  or your Passwords at MySpace, MyLife, Twitter etc --  where they can login using your account, infect your pages, and thus infect all your friends.
   
 - More than 250 new Malware programs are created weekly.  Most of them try to infect your computer when you visit innocent-looking web pages.
 - Microsoft admits to having open security holes frequently in software... which has been 'patched' with Security Updates every month since the inception of Windows in June 1994.
 - MSN.Com recently was serving out infected banner advertisements on their pages.
 - and the list goes on...

I've had enough!

Minimum System Requirements
Hardware 1.  Download the free Residential version of SafeSpace software from here.  
Put it into the /My Documents / _Downloads folder. 
If you don't already have a _Downloads folder, go to Windows Explorer (a My Computer window) and click on File > New Folder.  Name the folder _Downloads -- with a leading Underscore so that it appears at the top of the list.  

2.  After downloading, Disconnect from the internet and close the Email softare and the Web Browser software.
Open a My Computer Window, go into the _Downloads folder and then Double-Click to install SafeSpace.
SafeSpace software will automatically find the Internet-facing software that is on the computer.

3.  Reboot after installing.

• PC with 400Mhz Processer, or higher 
• 128 Megabytes RAM, or higher
• 10 Megabytes disk space (Installation)
• Up to 200 Megabytes disk space (Usage)

The Automatic Windows Update process is not affected by SafeSpace.

However, if you manually update your computer by browsing to the Windows Update website, you will need to do the manual update from outside SafeSpace, otherwise nothing will install.

There is no need to disable SafeSpace or even stop using SafeSpace. You can use the 'Quick Launch Outside SafeSpace' option from the Notification icon menu to run Internet Explorer.
